Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for clients across multiple industry sectors

• Perform and review general ledger account reconciliations

• Develop and maintain quality relationships with clients and staff

• Review staff work product while providing constructive feedback and identifying staff developmental needs

• Assist managers and partners in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities

• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to time management for various client accounts and deadlines

• Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by supervisor

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Experience with managing a variety of assignments simultaneously while tracking and completing necessary follow-up

• Successful experience supervising and mentoring staff

• Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines

• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in various accounting software packages including Quickbooks, Sage, MS Excel and Word
