Responsibilities:

• Prepare all sections of an audit with minimal supervision, supervise the preparation of less complicated sections of an audit, and assume primary responsibility in the preparation of financial statements

• Develop and maintain quality relationships with clients and staff

• Review staff work product while providing constructive feedback and identifying staff developmental needs

• Assist managers and partners in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities, client presentations and selling opportunities

• Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients

 

Qualifications:

• 3 - 7 years of recent audit experience in public accounting

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA or be a CPA candidate

• Experience working with clients in the energy, construction, manufacturing, distribution and non-profit industries

• Successful experience supervising and mentoring staff on engagements

• Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines

• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills

• Experience with ProSystems fx Engagement and KnowledgeCoach audit software applications is a plus, but not required
